I have 2 ancestors that fought with the 35th NC Co. k. The first was Joseph Mull. He enlisted 15 Oct 1861, fought all four years and was surrenered at Appomattox Court House. The second was Joseph Peter Mull. He enlisted 15 Oct 1861, taken as a POW at Five Forks, VA 1 Apr 1865 and confined at Point Lookout, MD. On 29 Jun 1865, he took the Oath Of Allegiance and was released. How is that for a little unit history?

Awesome!

MY ancestor was also captured during the last days of the war at Ft. Steaman a few days before Five Forks.
